The State Insurance Organization of the Kyrgyz Republic presents its updated official website, designed to make insurance services more accessible and more convenient for customers. The organization's core services can now be obtained remotely, without visiting an office.
On the updated website customers can choose the insurance product they need, apply for a policy, complete electronic identification, sign the required documents with an electronic digital signature (EDS), make a payment and receive their insurance policy in electronic form.
The website also allows customers to file a notice of an insured event, obtain information about insurance products and terms of cover, verify insurance certificates and find SIO branches and representative offices throughout the Kyrgyz Republic.
Particular attention has been paid to convenient electronic interaction with customers. After selecting an insurance product, the user can move straight to the application, complete the identification and document signing steps, and receive a ready electronic insurance policy.
Insurance contracts are concluded electronically in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Insurance and Insurance Activities" No. 89 of 29 April 2025, Articles 22 and 24 of which provide for concluding an insurance contract in the form of an electronic document and set requirements for an insurer's online resources. The use of an electronic digital signature and confirmation that it belongs to the certificate holder are governed by the Digital Code of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 178 of 31 July 2025. A policy signed with an electronic digital signature has the same legal force as a paper document.
The launch of the updated website is part of SIO's consistent work on digitalising insurance services, reducing service times and building modern, accessible channels of interaction with citizens and organisations.
SIO will continue to expand its range of online services and improve remote insurance servicing.
