Compulsory housing insurance protects the policyholder's residential premises against fire and natural disasters.
The sum insured for this class is set by law at 1,000,000 som — it is not chosen by the policyholder but applied automatically. Owners of residential premises are required to hold the policy.
Prices start from 600 som. The policy can be arranged online or at any SIO branch.
