Your security

GSO looks after its clients' security in two senses: it protects the personal data you give the company, and it helps you avoid fraudsters acting in someone else's name.

Processing of personal data

The State Insurance Organisation processes personal data in accordance with the Digital Code of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 178 of 31 July 2025 (Articles 77–91) and other regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The procedure, categories of data, purposes, retention periods, security measures and the rights of the data subject are set out in the Personal Data Processing Policy of GSO: download the document.

Data submitted through the website forms is used to arrange insurance services, to respond to enquiries and to comply with statutory requirements. By submitting a form you confirm your consent to the processing of personal data.

Terms of online purchase

Services on the online.gso.kg platform are provided under a public offer agreement: download the document. The agreement governs digital identification through the Unified Identification System of the Kyrgyz Republic, issuance of digital insurance policies, electronic signing of documents and payment.

Both documents are published in the Legal framework section.

How to be sure you are dealing with GSO

  • The company's official website is gso.kg. Check the address bar: fraudsters create look-alike domains.
  • Take out policies at GSO offices and sales points or through the company's official online services.
  • The company's bank details are published on the Bank details page. A request to transfer money to any other account is a reason to stop and call the hotline.
  • If you doubt whether a policy, a call or a message is genuine, do not decide on the spot. Call GSO on the number given on the official website, not the number in the message.

What GSO staff will never ask for

  • a code from an SMS or push notification;
  • your card PIN, the CVV/CVC from the back of your card, or your online banking password;
  • a transfer of money to an individual's card or account;
  • installation of remote access software on your phone or computer.

Any such request is a sign of fraud, whoever the caller claims to be.

Security when taking out a policy and paying

Check that the policy correctly states your details, the insured object, the period of cover and the sum insured. Keep the policy and the payment confirmation.

Do not share photographs of your documents or policy with third parties unless it is necessary.

Read the terms of cover, the list of insured risks, the exclusions and the procedure for receiving a payment before entering into the contract. The current insurance rules are published in the Regulatory framework section.

If you encounter fraud

Stop the conversation and do not make any transfers.

Report it to GSO on the hotline number and, where necessary, to the law enforcement authorities.

Keep the correspondence, phone numbers, links and any other details that will help to establish what happened.
